“Never thought our autistic twins could learn martial arts and we were wrong. Sensei Rachelle has her ways to bring out hidden potentials in our children. Individual class is a good way for each of our kids to learn at their own pace. A group class is also a fun experience and a chance to interact with others. Thank you everyone at Allens American Martial Arts for showing the way that our kids can do the impossible.”

Lots of equipment, very comfortable setting.
My sensory seeker enjoyed his open gym time very much!

“I want to thank Sensei Allen and the staff at Allens American Martial Arts studio, for the way you all have handled my son Isaiah. The improvement that my husband and I have witnessed within him is nothing short of a miracle. After his first lesson I was positive you all were going to tell us “karate was not for him”. Unfortunately, we had been given that excuse time and time again when others did not want to put up with an autistic child. Of course, as his parents we did not want to give up on him. We are grateful that you all shared our genuine love and support for him. Sensei Rachelle took an immediate interest in him. Looking beyond his disabilities, she had strengthened and refined his abilities. You all have not only met our standards, but have exceeded them all! Isaiah’s success is not confined to the dojo. Thanks to you all, he has learned how to focus and complete many daily tasks on his own. His accomplishments are a direct result of the skills he has acquired through working closely with all of you. Although we can never repay you for the impact you have had in Isaiah’s life, we want to say thank you.”

We love Special ninjas and sensei Rachelle. My son who has ASD and ADHD has struggled to find a sport/activity to connect with and enjoy but, ever since he started working 1:1 with sensei Rachelle he has loved martial arts and is now eager to work towards every belt. This has allowed him to focus and gain confidence in himself. My only regret is not signing him up sooner. What a gem of a resource to have in this community!
